Summing up Interview techniques
Think forward to the interview at the time you   make
the written application.
Arrive on time, clean and conventionally dressed.
Wait to be asked before you sit down, or light up
a   cigarette. Sit upright, but not stiffly with your
arms   folded over-defensively.
Take any opportunity given by the questions to talk   on
a subject which interests you, so long as you are   sure
it is not boring the interviewer.
Prepare yourself with one or two sensible questions   for use
when the opportunity presents itself.
When leaving, thank the interviewer for seeing you.
There is no perfect recipe for getting a job, but, if you   can
express yourself well, both in writing and in speech,   and can
look and sound pleasant, your chances of getting   the job will
be increased greatly.
After the interview, tell the interviewer that you would   like to hear from him soon.
After the interview, thank the interviewer for spending the   time with you.
